Helping Children

I've volunteered my time to help preschool children at a summer camp one year when I was 15. I felt like I was a big influence on their lives. It made me realize that I wanted to become a teacher because I felt like when you make an impact on a child's life that feeling is better then the feeling of a nice check that comes in the end of the week. Its something that you can't put a price on and I definitely felt like that summer was NOT a waste of time. I helped children grown and learn as well as helping myself learn and grow.

I was a volunteer cheerleading coach for the YMCA and I really liked working with the girls. xd.gif

I also volunteered at the Humane Society with my team. I wanted to bring all of the dogs home!
